Quality Of Service
Brilliance Edulearn does not guarantee that the assigned tutor will improve the student’s academic grades. In addition to tuition, self-studying and paying attention in school is necessary to perform well in examinations. Clients are liable to pay tuition fees for all attended lessons, regardless of how satisfactory the lessons were. However, we allow free cancellation of tutors at any time if the tutor is not satisfactory to our client’s request. Also, clients may contact us for feedback regarding their experience with the tutor we provided. We appreciate the help in providing us accurate feedback as it helps us to improve our system.
Payment And Commission
Our service is free-of-charge for clients, but clients are required to assist us in collecting the commission payment. Upon completion of half of the lessons for the 1st month, clients are required to make the commission payment within three days of the stated due date to Brilliance Edulearn. Instructions regarding the payment procedure will be provided to you. Commission amount is generally the first 2 weeks of lessons, but may vary according to our Fair Commission Policy. After completion of 1 month of lessons, clients are then required to pay the remaining 3rd and 4th week of tutor fees directly to the tutor. We will send the client an official invoice via email with the payment details. It is their responsibility to ensure that the bank receipt is kept as proof of transaction made via cash deposit transfer. Otherwise, we may not be able to verify the payment. Additionally, any tuition added during the 1st month, such as tuition for tutee’s siblings or for additional subjects, shall be made known to Brilliance Edulearn and will be included in the commission.
Tutor Reassignment Or Cancellation
The client may request a replacement tutor or cancel at any time after the first lesson, but will still have to pay the attended tuition fees to the tutor as well as the commission to Brilliance Edulearn. However, as a guideline, clients are expected to commit for at least 1 month of lessons before deciding if the tutor is helping the tutee to achieve improvements or not. However, in the event of unsatisfactory behavior by the tutor, clients may cancel at any time and be refunded of the remaining fees if they had paid in advance.
While there is no valid contract, please note that there is an “unspoken agreement” to complete minimum 1 lesson upon tutor confirmation. Clients may cancel after 1 lesson if unsatisfied with the tutor, and we will refund the remaining fees paid in advance. This is because we have put in the effort and resources to find the tutor. For cancellations before first lessons, clients shall be liable and may be required to pay administrative fees to the agency equivalent to at least the 1st lesson tuition fee. The date and time of the first lesson shall be fixed and adhered to. It is the client’s responsibility to inform us early if there is a need to postpone the first lesson, unless the reason is sudden and unforeseen.
Postponement Of Lessons, And Last Minute Cancellations
Clients shall inform the tutor if a postponement or cancellation is needed. If the tutor is only informed less than two hours away to the start time of the lesson, clients shall be liable to pay for the loss time and transport cost to the tutor. The amount payable will be 50% of 1 lesson. The client shall pay this amount in cash immediately on the tutor’s next visit or via bank transfer to the tutor if there is no more next visit. If there is a delay in payment for this for more than 14 days from the day of occurrence, Brilliance Edulearn has the right to launch a legal claim of the amount liable at the Small Claims Tribunal and the client may be liable to make an additional fee of minimum $100 to the tuition agency. Cancellations or postponement of lessons will not affect our commission unless it is due to our negligence.
Qualifications And Authentication
All our tutors are expected to provide accurate information and scanned soft copy of NRIC and Certifications when called upon to do so. We will not tolerate tutors who attempt to cheat our clients with fake qualifications and information and will report them to the Police.
Tuition Rates And Schedule
Clients are allowed to renegotiate the schedule, under the condition that the tutor accepts your renegotiation. Any changes in the frequency of lessons in the first 4 weeks of lessons must be made known to Brilliance Edulearn, as we may adjust our commission according to our Fair Commission Policy (For Tutors).
Place Of Tuition
Lessons will be conducted at student’s home unless specified.
